How to take charge of your finances (hint, it’s in your worldview)

May 24

Your experiences shape your worldview.

Your worldview shapes your narrative.

Your narrative shapes your actions.

You can’t change your past experiences.

However, you can change your worldview by understanding where it comes from.

Is your worldview from your culture?  Something that someone said to you?

Is it from your mature adult perspective or your child’s perspective?

Think about these questions.  They’ll get you started.

What does this have to do with budgeting?

If you want to take control of your finances, you need to take control of your financial worldview.

About The Author

Hi, I'm Avraham (pronounced Av-Rum.) I'm a reformed spender, financial coach, and the founder of Avraham Byers Financial (I'm better with money than coming up with company names.) In a funny and non-preachy way, I teach people how to take control of their finances without giving up their smoked butterscotch lattes.

What happened to “BREAKTHROUGH”? That was an awesome company name!

Yes, I totally agree with what you said. I also think that we can’t change our past experiences but we can change and improve what we have started especially when it comes to money management. This is a very helpful site.
